Partnership of "Enfants de Salonique AAB” Association in Geneva with the Association of Friends and Volunteer of Society of Minors’ Protection in Thessaloniki.

On March 23, 2012 the Association "Enfants de Salonique AAB", established by Mrs. Mireille Doret, president of the Association, in her birthplace Geneva, on the advice of the Consul General of Greece in Geneva, Mr. Nicolas Bazas.
The Association aims to raise funds and in Switzerland to support the activity and work of the Association of Friends Volunteer in Thessaloniki.
The Association’s " Enfants de Salonique AAB” main sources of revenue include:
Donations, sale of artworks, created by young people from the Association in Thessaloniki and the organization of cultural and social events in Geneva (Concerts, art and painting exhibitions etc.)
Association’s President, Mrs M.Doret, deeply appreciates the support by an impressive number of philhellenes living in Geneva, by the Consulate General of Greece and by the Committee of the Association of Greek Ladies of Geneva, as well as the very important help and assistance of Mr. Alain Chabloz, the Director of AFN tourist agency in Geneva.
The partnership and collaboration of the Associations, in two countries, it is substantial for the empowerment and development of young offenders’ social support activities, as well as for the implementation of prevention projects for young people at risk of social exclusion.
The main actions that implemented, by the partnership and support of the two Associations for young people at risk in Thessaloniki include, the provision of services at the following areas of young people’ support:
•    Social Support and Assistance in the fields of health, education, employment, food and housing, for young people and their families.
•    Legal Counseling and Information,
•    Psychological and social counseling,
•    Employment Counseling and Vocational Training
