Creative Training Workshops and after school recreation programs
The basic tool of Association’s interventions is the integration of the international research findings data on the effectiveness of non formal training approaches, regarding working with youth’s groups.

Association, since its establishment, works systemically on non formal training activities development and assessment, planning and implementing a variety of Creative Training Workshops of young people, at both prevention and management level.

The objectives of Creative Training Workshops, in accordance with the methodological approach, which Association has developed and it is constantly under evaluation and upgrading progress, is to offer an alternative proposal on:

    Youth’s free time creative and educative management.
    Youth’s social and communicative skills empowerment
    Youth’s self perception and self-esteem development
    Youth’s self and emotional expression promotion
    Youth’s social participatory and cooperation skills building
    Youth’s special talents, experiences and skills upgrading and exploitation
    Youth’s employability promotion, in real work conditions stimulation.
The educational model and objectives of the Creative Training Workshops, are determined and specified in connection with the youth group, which addressed. It could be distinguished to the following categories of workshops, in which the Association has developed an extensive expertise

Creative Training Workshops of the Society for the Protection of Minors in
Thessaloniki.
The workshops are attended by young offenders who have been referred for supervision by the Prosecutor of Minors of Minors’ Court of Thessaloniki.

Creative Training Workshops in Prison.
The workshops are attended by minors and women prisoners in the detention facilities of Diabata Prison of Thessaloniki.

Creative Training Workshops of prevention

The workshops are attended by young people of social disadvantages groups and young people in risk of social exclusion.

The planning, the coordination and the assessment of Creative Workshops, constitutes the result of the cooperation between of a large, dynamic and interdisciplinary group of volunteers, trained in the educational issues,  the methodology and the objectives of each workshop, as well as on issues involved in Association’s activity areas development.

Experts Team
Moreover, the team of Workshops’ coordinators and assistants volunteers, it is constantly supported and supervised by a team of experts, psychologists and social workers,. These professionals are in charge, also, for the services of counseling support, provided by the Association, at individual and group level, to young people and their families, when its needed.
